Goats are smart, kind, inquisitive, loving…. and some amazing youth were able to experience this first-hand at the Wisconsin State Fair this year.
The “All for One” Goat Show was held on Saturday night during the fair. Many of our 4-H exhibitors worked with an 8- to 17-year-old youth with an intellectual disability to give them the opportunity to learn about showing goats — at a real show!
This was the coolest thing at State Fair… HANDS DOWN. Everyone loved it. The kids (exhibitors, helpers AND goat “kids”) loved it! Sooooo many smiles.

Look at these pictures and you’ll see what I mean…. Goats bring out the best in everyone!

Yes, he’s hiding animal crackers from the goat! Yep…. the goat is wearing a sticker that says “I love goats!” The whole group!
